HireWithLumi

✦ SMS Terms

HireWithLumi candidate text messages.

The texts we send to job candidates about their applications and screenings, how you agree to them, and how to stop them.

These terms apply only to the text messages (SMS) HireWithLumi sends to job candidates. How we handle your mobile number is also covered in our Privacy Policy.

1. Who sends these messages

Messages come from HireWithLumi, which is operated by Lumina Innovations (Holdings) Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. Every message opens with the name of the employer you applied to followed by "via HireWithLumi", for example "[employer] via HireWithLumi:".

Website: hirewithlumi.com
Contact: hello@hirewithlumi.com

2. What we send

We send non-marketing notifications about a job application and the screening you are completing through HireWithLumi for an employer:

  • Invitations to complete a screening
  • Reminders before a screening deadline
  • Notice when a screening deadline changes
  • Updates if a screening is withdrawn or reinstated

We do not send marketing, promotional or third-party messages.

You agree by ticking a checkbox that starts unticked, either on the HireWithLumi screening page or on an employer's application form where the wording names HireWithLumi. Agreeing is never a condition of applying.

HireWithLumi hosts employers' job and application pages on your-new-role.com, our candidate application domain. Every page there shows "Powered by HireWithLumi". The SMS checkbox appears on step 1 of the application form, after the CV upload. Example application page: your-new-role.com/lumina-innovations/….

The checkbox wording is:

[employer] is replaced with the name of the employer you are applying to.

This is how it looks on the application form, after a US mobile number has been entered and before any box is ticked:

HireWithLumi application form, Enter Your Details step. A US phone number is entered and the SMS, WhatsApp and Automated call boxes are all unticked, with the consent wording and links to SMS terms below.
Application form, step 1 of 3. All boxes start unticked.

4. Message frequency

Message frequency varies. It depends on the screenings you are invited to and on any reminders or deadline changes for them.

5. Costs

Message and data rates may apply.

6. Opting out

Reply STOP to any message at any time. END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE and QUIT also work. You will receive one message confirming you have opted out, and no further text messages after that. To opt back in, reply START.

7. Help

Reply HELP to any message, or email hello@hirewithlumi.com.

8. Privacy

We do not share, sell, rent or transfer mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data and consent to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. To send our text messages, we pass mobile numbers only to the SMS delivery provider that sends them, which acts on our instructions. This applies regardless of anything else in our Privacy Policy.

Read the text messages section of our Privacy Policy.

9. Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

10. Example messages

Text in square brackets is filled in for each message.
